The DHT Blocking Shampoo blocks enzymes that turn testosterone into DHT.  Helps inhibit the conversion of DHT, fights hair loss and restores hair growth.  With male pattern baldness, which can be found in women, hair at the edges and crown will thin then eventually disappear.  

To understand male pattern baldness, we need to understand hair growth.  The following is a brief summary.

Hair growth is split into 3 phases:  Anagen, Catagen a Telogen

Anagen:  The growth phase- Hairs remain in this phase for 2-6 years.  The longer this phase lasts, the longer the hair grows.  Normally around 85% of the hairs on the head are in this phase.

Catagen:  This phase only lasts 2 weeks and allows the follicle to renew itself.

Telogen:  This is the resting phase where follicles lie dormant and can last 1-4 months.  Normally 10-15% of the hairs are in this phase, once this phase is over, the anagen phase begins again and new growth naturally sheds.

For Use:  This product is best used daily. If dryness occurs discontinue use for a few days, the begin again.  Can be paired with Revive Growth Shampoo, which is moisturizing, to eliminate dryness, followed by Revive Growth Conditioner.  Lastly, apply Intense Growth Elixer.
